MB Aerospace announces the appointment of Tom Tanner as Vice President of Continuous Improvement and Quality21 Jan 2018
We are delighted to confirm the appointment of Tom Tanner as the new Vice President of Continuous Improvement and Quality of MB Aerospace.
Tom joins us having spent his career to date with GE Aviation, gathering extensive industry knowledge. Tom joins from GE where he was Chief Manufacturing Engineer and has held numerous leadership roles including being the Manufacturing Programs Leader, the Structures CoE Quality Leader as well as having been plant leader at multiple sites across GE Aviation North America during a three-decade career.
Tom is an engineer by training, who received a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a BS in Engineering from the University of Illinois as well as being a Certified Six Sigma Master Black belt.
At MB Aerospace, Tom will utilize his manufacturing experience of large-scale operating systems and executing growth at global multi-site businesses as the group continues to expand its scale of operations globally in the manufacture and repair of aero-engine components for the leading OEM’s.

Tom will start with MB Aerospace on the 29th of January 2018.
